Unstable weather will continue to prevail over the country on Friday, says UAE's official weather forecaster National Center for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). The sun is likely to be hidden behind a haze of sand and dust.
Meanwhile, "sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy. The amount of clouds will increase over scattered areas and it will be associated with different intensity of rainfall and decrease in temperatures", predicts NCMS.
The wind will be moderate to fresh, causing dust/sand to blow over and thereby reducing the horizontal visibility. Sea will be rough over the Arabian Gulf and Oman sea. Beach-goers should stay away from deep waters and try to avoid the beaches this weekend.
UAE residents were greeted with light showers on Thursday evening. The intensity of rainfall was varied. While those living in Bur Dubai reported about medium intensity showers, those living in Ajman said they only felt a few drops of rain.
However, the cloudy skies and strong winds have brought down the temperature in the country.
The maximum temerature in the internal areas of the country today will be in the range of 25-33 deg C, while the mimimum will be about 18-23 deg C.
The weather will be similar on Saturday as well as the unstable conditions will continue.
