A school-bus driver in Ajman left his 8-year-old daughter in the bus and went to call the other school children at the end of the day.
Just as he was about to drive away, his daughter shouted at him to stop and asked him to go and smack the man standing near the school gate.
When her father asked her why, she told him that she was in the bus alone the other day and that man came in and caressed sensitive parts of her body. The girl said that when she tried to scream, he pressed his hand against her mouth and warned her.
The shocked father went straight to the police and reported his colleague, who works as a driver at the same school.
A court on Sunday sentenced the molester to one year in jail and ordered his deportation from the UAE.
