Etisalat has announced its business hours to ensure customers can continue to access Etisalat’s services during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holidays.
From July 27 until July 31, the following Business Centres will be operational between 8am to 1pm, however, they will remain closed on the first and second days of Eid Al Fitr:
- Main BC, Madinat Zayed, Ruwais Housing
- Al Wasel BC, Al Khalieej BC, Al Ain Main BC
- Deira BC, Al Manakh BC
- Mushairef BC, RAK BC, Fujairah BC
Madinat Zayed and Ruwais Housing Business Centers will be closed on the third day of Eid as well.
Etisalat’s dedicated outlets in malls across the UAE will be operational as per mall working hours. All other Business and Service Centres will remain closed during the week. Starting August 2, 2014, all retail stores will resume business as per normal working hours. [Wam]
Residency and Foreign Affairs centers to function from 10 am to 1pm
The Ministry of Interior announced the working hours at the various service departments at the General Directorates of Residency and Foreign Affairs; the sections dealing with the public; and all affiliated Naturalization Departments and sections across the UAE during Eid Al Fitr holidays.
The working hours will be from 10 am to 1pm except on Friday and Saturday at all customer service centers at these departments.
Major-General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs said that a number of employees have been entrusted with the task to ensure a speedy completion of customers’ emergency and urgent transactions.
This measure aims to deliver services to the public by avoiding work pressure and the expected rush following the Eid Al Fitr holidays. It also embodies the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to achieve the standards of quality and excellence in performance.
“This procedure comes in implementation of the Police Leadership’s directives that stipulate the need to upgrade the level of services provided to the public. It also showcases our keenness to promote the principles of total quality and excellence in performance and to deliver distinguished services to community members,” he added.
Moreover, Major-General Al Khaili stressed the keenness of the General Directorates of Residency and Foreign Affairs across the country to provide distinguished high quality services throughout the year, intensify activities during various events, and alleviate the burden on customers, so as to ensure a smooth workflow. He also urged the employees at those departments to redouble their efforts so as to provide better services to the public.
