Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has been extremely guarded about his personal life with the media.

Not that he is not entitled to after the intense scrutiny his love-life goes through by the scribes.

But the couple's repeated denial of an obvious romance between the two has irked the journos.

At times Ranbir looked miffed with the Indian media over how they are treating his “ladylove” Katrina Kaif.

Now it seems he is now trying to make peace with the journalists and move on.

During an interview to Hindustan Times, Ranbir was asked why he keeps his distance from the media, the actor justifies saying since there are no film release there's nothing much to talk about.

"What do I say to whatever is written about me, throughout the year? (It will only lead to) one clarification after the other.”

Ranbir also comments on Katrina’s open letter to the media last year, “Let bygones be bygones. We are all moving forward in our lives.”

The actor wants media to forgive Katrina and let the matter go by.

Last year Katrina had shot an angry statement to the media when her holiday images dressed in a bikini, and him, in a blue shorts, went viral.

Instead of being the gentleman, he is often portrayed to be, Ranbir also decided to instead indulge in some dirty games.

The otherwise jovial and suave actor indulged in ungentlemanly tactics, wherein he has flashed indirect and lewd hand gestures at the paparazzi.

These gestures and guarded attitude have been noticed more often after media broadcasted Ranbir and Katrina's intimate beach holiday pictures.

While love can make the world a better place, in this case, it surely has ended up creating a lot of bad blood.

After going offensive with the media some sense has now prevailed and Ranbir is asking media to let bygones be bygones.
