The plan for an exclusive Apple store in the UAE was first revealed when Tim Cook paid a visit to Dubai earlier this year. It now looks like the plan is finally taking shape.

Apple has posted a detailed list of job postings for 26 various positions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which could include jobs for possible retail stores, and a regional headquarters.

Among the positions are openings for Facilities Manager for Middle East, Turkey and Africa; Senior Managing Producer, Channel – Middle East; UAE- Manager, UAE – Business Specialist, and UAE store leader, among others.

Interested applicants can submit resumes directly but will need an Apple ID to do so.

UAE could be the only location in the region where Apple currently plans to open its own store. Other locations include seven in China, one each in in Australia and South Africa, Thailand and Indonesia apart from a few locations in Europe.

Apple CEO Tim Cook during his visit to the UAE earlier this year had met several key UAE officials including. Cook also met a number of Apple resellers while he was in the country.

Although it is still not clear when the Apple owned stores could open here, a rough estimate could mean a late 2014 or early 2015 opening.
