Football transfer latest: Man Utd's dream team move: Ronaldo, Fabregas, Van Persie, Rooney

It’s the gathering perfect storm. For Arsenal that is.

For Manchester United fans, it can be the ultimate dream.

Gareth Bale moving to Real Madrid could free Cristiano Ronaldo to come back to Manchester United.

To add to that, the BBC reported that Barcelona have admitted that Cesc Fabregas has a part to play in his wanting to join David Moyes’ team at United, or stay at Barcelona. That will give Old Trafford some hope as they seem intent on bringing Fabregas to join Robin Van Persie.

Then, there is every chance that despite all the brouhaha, Wayne Rooney could still stay at United.

That would give Moyes a dream team to start his reign as United manager.

Cesc Fabregas in midfield, and a forward line-up of Cristiano Ronaldo, Robin Van Persie and Wayne Rooney.

Not Bayern Munich, Real (even with Bale), Barcelona or Paris St Germain could boast such firepower.

The team that will be hurting the most, should this happen, will be Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger has once again seemed to lack the capability to bring a big name to the Emirates… as yet.

The Luis Suarez saga is increasingly becoming more and more laboured. Gonzalo Higuain did not come either.

What will hurt the most is seeing two of Arsenal’s own stars – Fabregas and RVP – now at United.

The perfect transfer window for Manchester United will be the perfect storm for Arsenal. And Arsene Wenger.
