His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, will perform Eid Al Adha prayers at the Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Mosque in Zabeel on Saturday.
A number of Sheikhs and worshippers will perform prayers along with Sheikh Mohammed.
After the prayers Sheikh Mohammed will receive Eid well-wishers at his palace in Zabeel.
Mohammed orders 453 prisoners released
In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has ordered the release of 453 prisoners from Dubai punitive and corrective institutions on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
Dubai Attorney General, Essam Issa Al Humaidan asserted that the humanitarian gesture reflects Sheikh Mohammed’s keenness to bring happiness to people and also giving prisoners the opportunity to start a new life.
Al Humaidan expressed deep gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed on behalf of the prisoners, and he added that the Public Prosecution has started taking the necessary procedures for the release of the pardoned prisoners to allow them enjoy Eid Al Adha with their families.
