An Air Canada flight crash landed following a tyre burst during take-off on Thursday night, which resulted in one of its propellers tearing through the cabin and hitting a female passenger’s head.
Christina Kurylo, who was onboard the Jazz Aviation plane from Calgary to Grande Prairie, was treated for bruises and concussions, DailyMail reported.

Recalling the incident, she said, “It was pretty confusing…all of a sudden I got hit in the head…”
Her colleague, who was also onboard the flight, said Kurylo had a ‘huge purple lump’ on her head and ‘lots of bruises and scratches’.
Three other passengers were taken to hospital, while the rest of the 67 passengers and crew members were examined by paramedics at the scene and released.
Airline officials are investigating the incident.
