A Saudi man murdered his 10-year-old relative after the boy resisted his attempts to rape him in a deserted area in the Gulf Kingdom.
The killer himself went to the police and told them the boy had been missing since the morning and that his family asked him to report his absence.
The boy’s father told the police that his son and his 14-year-old brother had gone to watch a football match with their relative, but that the little boy did not return home.
“Police suspected the relative as he gave them contradicting statements. During interrogation, he confessed to killing the boy by strangling him with his head cover after he tried to rape him,” ‘Sada’ Arabic language newspaper said in a report from the southern Sharurah town.
