The UAE weather bureau forecasts chances of rain and 'unstable conditions' starting Tuesday.
“It will go from ‘partly cloudy’ to ‘cloudy’,” said a spokesperson for UAE's National Center for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), adding, “these conditions will prevail until Thursday afternoon.”
He added, “There will be scattered rain with accelerated wind.”
The conditions will result in a temperature drop, with the maximum at 28 degree Celsius, and the minimum at 15 degree C.
A warning is issued to motorists to drive carefully, as the wet weather could cause the roads to be slippery. Even beach-goers are tipped not to head outdoors, with the sea shifting from ‘moderate’ to ‘rough’.
“Residents in the North Eastern region are advised not to go down to the valley or to areas that have water bodies,” the spokesperson added.
The region was recovering from heavy North Westerly winds, which will ease by Monday morning.
The lowest temperature on Sunday was recorded at 13.8 degree Celsius in Al Ain Area.
