Saudi wife 'eyes' divorce over lenses

A Saudi woman decided to choose her eye lenses over her new husband after she insisted on a divorce when he told her not to use eye lenses.

The husband, also a Saudi, told his wife to take off her eye lenses and not use them against just a month after they married in the capital Riyadh, but the wife rejected his request and asked for a divorce on the grounds she does not want to have any conditions.

“The wife considered her husband as a man who makes conditions and insisted on a divorce.

“The husband considered his wife as a woman who prefers artificial beauty and that she needs to learn how to carry out her duty for her husband. He accepted her request and divorced her,” ‘Sada’ newspaper said.
